Brands help Koprol grow 350% in 3 months

Between January and now, Koprol membership has more than tripled! 354% to be exact. Usage also jumped. Daily posts and comments are more than 3 times they were 3 months ago.
Why the jump? Brands on Koprol
Did we add new features in the last 3 months? Sure, but not much. What has been the theme in those 3 months are businesses using Koprol as platform for their promotions. Who would refuse free tickets, free food, free gadgets? One company even threw in an iPad. These social media marketing efforts pulled in big batches of users, mostly the teens and first jobbers.
All types of business promote on Koprol. A horror movie, a music concert, a music awards show, a cinema, an online marketplace, frozen yogurt retailer, a security software, a phone brand, an online reality show, etc.

Some people thought Koprol was just about location, but strangely, any kind of brand or product can take advantage of Koprol. Why? Because Koprol is about community and conversations, not a pointless check-in game. Here, the discussions are the driving force. And brands travel by word of mouth.
